The short version

The Scientific Calculator is designed to be private by default. All calculations run locally in your web browser. We do not require an account, we do not ask for personal information, and the expressions you type are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or the contents of your calculations. There is no login and there are no user accounts.

Data stored on your device

To make the calculator convenient, we save a few things locally in your browser using its storage: your calculation history, your theme choice (light or dark), and settings such as degrees or radians. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing the calculator’s history or your browser’s site data.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. It collects data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location derived from IP address, and browser and device type. We also use Google AdSense to display advertisements. AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads; by default, Google uses your browsing activity to show ads it considers relevant to you. You can adjust or opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Third-party services

The site uses Google Analytics for usage analytics and Google AdSense for advertising, both governed by the Google Privacy Policy. The site is also delivered through Cloudflare's content delivery network, which processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to serve pages and protect against abuse.

Children's privacy

The calculator is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
